We stayed in a 6-pax family room at a 3-star hotel in Kyoto. The room was tatami-style — simple but cozy — with 2 super single and 2 single futon beds. It also had a small pantry with a microwave, kettle, sink, and mini fridge. Super comfy for our group! Our room was at 7th floor and there is an elevator to go up. The location was great — only 200m to Sain and Saiin stations, and about 3.5km to Gion area. Plenty of convenience stores nearby, and a coin laundry just around the corner. The hotel is right next to the main road. No hotel parking, but public parking is available within 100m. The water heater and room heater worked well, so we were warm and comfy. The owner and hotel staff were very friendly — they greeted us warmly every time we came back to the hotel, which made the stay feel extra welcoming. Overall, a nice and convenient place to stay in Kyoto.

It is a little far from the center, but we had a nice stay, the owner is a kind person, and he even borrowed the umbrellas in the rainy days.
